Hygiene
Hygiene & quality management
We regard infection protection as one of our main priorities in our office. To ensure health and security of our patients and employees – when it comes to examinations, treatments and other activities – we have the latest guidelines for hygienic precautions and health and safety protection at the workplace. Herefore, we have established the required personal and organizational prerequisites. We consider it as our responsibility to evoke an awareness of safety. This is our way to make sure that we always keep the focus on our patient's safety and the occupational safety and health.
Among other guidelines we follow the guidelines for Hospital Hygiene and Infectious Disease
Prevention of the Robert Koch-Institute, the requirements to the hygiene for the preparation of medical products of the German Federal institute for pharmaceuticals and medical products (BfArM) and the guidelines for organization and hygiene management in doctor's practice according to the German Society for Hospital Hygiene and the Safety Regulations of the professional associations (German BGV) together with the Accident Prevention Regulations for physicians and their employees.
The measures implemented are the following:
- risk assessment of the instruments (grading in risk categories following the RKI guidelines)
- professional staff training (hygienics & process engineering)
- specification of the processing steps and of the responsibilities within the hygiene plan in the spirit of a quality management
- exact documentation and supervision of the reprocessing methods (batch control, bio-indicators)
All working processes, working tools, as well as structural, technical and organizational
conditions are designed to eliminate risks or reduce them to a minimum.
We are confident that our medical expertise and professional knowledge is exactly then the most valuable, when we are able to rely on a most capable team, which is equally dedicated to the highest demands of medical services and ethical responsibility, as we are.
